IT Requirements RFP

 

The Egyptian Banking Institute has endorsed a cooperative agreement with the United States Agency for International Development aiming at providing a high level training for Egyptian Bankers and CBE Staff.  The USAID program is currently in the process of buying American IT equipment that should have the following specific requirements:

  1. US Origin: To be considered of US Origin, the IT equipment must be made or manufactured in the US.  Accordingly, the IT equipment must be labeled, “Made in the US”, or “Manufactured in the US”. 

  2. US Source: To be considered of US Source, the IT equipment must be shipped from the US to Egypt. (i.e. Authorized Geographic Code 000 U.S. Source and Origin)

  3. Laptops, Network Switches and projectors are eligible for a blanket waiver of a geographic code 935 with only a US source.

  4. Suitable for use in the Egyptian electrical power environment (220Volts/50Hertz)
